The Castor and District Museum is located at 5101 - 49 Avenue in Castor. The hours of operation are 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, year-round. The governing authority is the Castor and District Museum Society. There is no admission fee though donations are gratefully accepted.

The collection at the museum includes articles representing many aspects of life in the surrounding district from the late 1800's to the present. There are farming, ranching, mining, and many business representations, a clothing room featuring war uniforms, old farm machinery, a 1917 Model T Ford, and a refurbished rural school. Life in church, school, and home is also depicted. The museum celebrates Winter Fest and other special events throughout the year.

The Castor and District Museum does not currently offer specific education programs; however, tours are always available for students. Contact the museum for further information.
