Program Outline: Students get to think of some examples of the types of jobs people
do in their community. Questions are asked, such as how might these jobs change when there
is an emergency? How did the jobs that people had during the war years meet their needs?
Program Duration: 1 hour
Availability: October 5 to November 15, weekdays, 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m.,
and 2:00 p.m.
Cost of Program: $1.00 per student with minimum of $20.00
Maximum Group Size: 30 students
Adult/Student Ratio: A minimum of 4 adults per group.
Program Materials: A Resource Guide is sent to the school upon receipt of the $20.00
booking deposit.
Pre/Post Trip Materials: The Resource Guide contains all pre- and post-field study
requirements.
Booking Requirements: When booking please provide information on school name, address,
phone number, teacher name, grade, tentative dates, and number of students. A minimum of 14
days advance notification is required.
