The Michener House is located at 5036-51 Street, Lacombe, Alberta. The hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily from May 15 to September 1. Open 12 to 4 p.m. weekdays from September 1 to October 31. Open November 1 to May 15 by appointment. The governing authority is the Maski-Pitoon Historical Society. There is no admission fee, however, donations are gratefully accepted.

The collection at the museum includes a display of period artifacts of Rt. Hon. Roland Michener, Governor General of Canada (1967-74), a pictorial collection and an archival collection. Some of the museum activities include various summer events such as group tours, school tours, special displays, Strawberry Tea and research.

The Blacksmith Shop Museum is fully functional. Open by appointment and for special events. Contains blacksmithing artifacts.
