The Millet and District Museum is located in the Town Administration Building at 5120 - 50 Street, Millet. The general public hours of operation are May 1 to August 28, Monday to Saturday, 8:30 to 4:30, September 1 to April 30, Tuesday and Thursday, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. All other times are by appointment. The governing authority is The Millet and District Historical Society and there is no admission fee though donations are gratefully accepted.

School tours are available Monday - Friday, and special tours by appointment. A minimum of 14 days advance notice is required. The school field study program was researched and designed by Patricia Shields, M. Ed., of Spectra Education.

The permanent museum display features the Hillside School, Kenny Kerr's Implement Office, Barth's Barber Shop, A four-room house and the tool shed. The museum has wheelchair access to the lower permanent displays. The Exhibit Room features at least two exhibits per year on varying subjects. The newest permanent display has over 200 Millet veteran photographs with their service information. The museum offers guided, interpretive tours and an investigation of historical information for schools and groups upon request.
