Program Outline: During this field study the students will discover how needs
are met in a community. Through a number of activities they will recognize the importance
of water, its characteristics, and its uses. Students will also have an opportunity to
work together to make butter.
Program Duration: 2 hours

Cost of Program: $2.50 per student with minimum of $40.00
Maximum Group Size: 30 students
Adult/Student Ratio: A minimum of 4 adults per group.
Program Materials: Three resource guides: an Information Guide, a Teacher Resource
Guide and a student Resource Guide, are sent to the school upon receipt of the $40.00
booking deposit.
Pre/Post Trip Materials: The Student Resource Guide contains all pre- and post-
field study requirements.
