Program Title: The Role the Museum Plays in Our Community

Program Outline: A general tour is given by community volunteers, a colouring sheet
dealing with pioneer life or Wetaskiwin history, object search hand-out, and a washing
demonstration.
Program Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours
Cost of Program: $0.50 per student for basic tour, an additional $0.50 per student if
a special event, such as ice-cream making, butter-making or candy store is ordered.
Supervisors and adults are free.
Maximum Group Size: 30
Adult/Student Ratio: Approximately 6 students with each tour guide, accompanied by a
teacher or supervisor.
Program Materials: All materials provided
Pre/Post Trip Materials: Museum "Passport to the Past" is given to each student.
Booking Requirements: Book 2 weeks in advance. 2 day notification on any
cancellations is required.
