Millet and District Museum and Exhibit Room

Program Title: Technological Advances During Wartime

Category: Social Studies

Grade Levels: Grade 9

Program Outline: Students learn that the world wars had considerable impact on technological advances and how technology changed and developed during the world wars. Students are asked about the reasons for these changes.

Program Duration: 1 hour

Availability: October 5 to November 15, weekdays, 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.

Cost of Program: $1.00 per student with a minimum of $20.00

Maximum Group Size: 30 students

Adult/Student Ratio: A minimum of 4 adults per group.

Program Materials: A Resource Guide is sent to the school upon receipt of the $20.00 booking deposit.

Pre/Post Trip Materials: The Resource Guide contains all pre- and post-field study requirements.

Booking Requirements: When booking please provide information on school name, address, phone number, teacher name, grade, tentative dates, and number of students.
