Millet and District Museum and Exhibit Room

Program Title: World War II in Alberta

Program Outline: Students get to consider how lifestyles changed in Alberta during World War II. The lives of soldiers are discussed along with the changes that took place for those on the homefront.

Program Duration: 1 hour

Availability: October 5 to November 15, weekdays, 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.

Cost of Program: $1.00 per student with a minimum of $20.00

Maximum Group Size: 30 students

Adult/Student Ratio: A minimum of 4 adults per group.

Program Materials: A Resource Guide is sent to the school upon receipt of the $20.00 booking deposit.

Pre/Post Trip Materials: The Resource guide contains all pre- and post-field study requirements.

Booking Requirements: When booking please provide information on school name, address, phone number, teacher name, grade, tentative dates, and number of students.
