The intention of the Quick and Dirty Research Assignment is to research a subject quickly and efficiently. Divide up the work. Complete the research process by searching for materials and making accurate notes. Record the resource title or identification number and/or name. Read the notes and make changes. Be ready to present your research materials to the class.
Our research is focused on finding the most influential (politically, socially, culturally, economically) people in our area. Right now we are creating a master list of important people and their contributions. Once the initial list is made we will have to determine which people will make our "Top Ten List". However, in order to determine who makes the "short list", we need enough material to draw from; therefore, your notes must be detailed so that we have a good sense of what the person has done for this area.
